The Brief

Lavash is an independent Persian restaurant in San Francisco. GROOVE Media produced a vertical-first brand film and a set of stills that capture what makes the room special: warm plaster walls, fresh flowers on every surface, and kabob platters that come out of the kitchen still sizzling.

The Challenge

Restaurants live and die on social feeds, and most restaurant content looks the same: overhead food shots under harsh light. Lavash needed content that sold the whole experience, the room, the hospitality and the food, in the vertical formats guests actually scroll.

The Approach

We shot on location during service in natural light, framing for 9:16 from the start so every shot works natively on Instagram Reels and TikTok. The edit moves from street to door to table, and the stills from the same shoot give Lavash a library of on-brand photography for posts, listings and menus.
