Kállay Saunders: 15-Year Concert and Album Premiere at A38 Budapest

American-Hungarian singer-songwriter Kállay Saunders will celebrate 15 years in music with a one-night concert aboard the A38 Ship in Budapest on Saturday, May 2, 2026, where he will also give his album another night its first live performance. GROOVE Media, his exclusive manager and content partner, is running the release campaign and tour operations behind the show.

Fifteen Years in One Setlist

Born in New York City, Kállay Saunders moved to Hungary in 2010, the year he finished fourth on the talent show Megasztár. In 2014 he represented Hungary at the Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen with "Running," placing fifth with 143 points, the country's second-best result after its fourth-place debut in 1994. According to A38, the two-hour headline set will span his whole career, including:

  • "Running", his 2014 Eurovision entry, which reached No. 1 in Hungary
  • "My Baby", the 2013 single that reached No. 1 on the Hungarian iTunes chart and the Hungarian Top 40 radio chart
  • "Csak Veled", his 2011 Hungarian-language single, a No. 7 hit on the Hungarian Top 40
  • "Ocean", which he also performed live as "YOUR LOVE (Ocean)" on GROOVE Sessions
  • "YOU", the October 2025 single and music video that previewed the new album

The Live Premiere of "another night"

The centerpiece of the evening is the first live outing for the songs of another night. Kállay has previewed the album with the singles "Wild Horses," "YOU" and "Lost at Sea," and he has described it as a record rooted in heartbreak and struggle whose real subject is finding purpose again. The A38 show gives audiences their first chance to hear the new material performed live.

Opening Act and Venue

Tunisian singer Ashref opens the night with his band, Ashref & Band. The venue is a Budapest landmark in its own right: A38 is a converted Ukrainian stone-carrier ship, permanently anchored beside Petőfi Bridge on the Buda side of the Danube since it opened in 2003. It houses a concert hall, restaurant and exhibition space across three levels, and it was named the best bar in the world in a Lonely Planet online poll.
