Kállay Saunders Releases Soul Single "take me back home"
Kállay Saunders releases "take me back home," a soul single produced by anatu, with a one-take video filmed in his mother's Budapest apartment.

Kállay Saunders released "take me back home," a soul single he wrote with his longtime collaborator and producer anatu, on June 26, 2026 through the label dojang. The song arrives with an official video filmed in one continuous take inside his mother's apartment in Budapest, and it continues the rollout of his album another night. GROOVE Media is Kállay Saunders' exclusive manager and content partner.
About the Song
"take me back home" is one of the most introspective records in Kállay's catalog. It deals with the exhaustion of city life and the pull back toward the people and places that keep a person grounded. Kállay put it plainly when announcing the single: "I chose the city lights to guide me through dark times, but they only took me further away." He describes the song as a realization, an apology and a plea to come home.
The production favors live instruments and an unpolished vocal over commercial sheen. Kállay and anatu share the writing credits, and anatu produced and programmed the track while also playing guitar and bass and singing background vocals. Eleazer Awuku plays piano and Nico Tindiglia adds Hammond organ. The single runs 3:49.
On the Radio
"take me back home" went into heavy rotation on Hungarian radio, including the national public station Petőfi Rádió and Sláger FM, and it has stayed on both playlists since release.
The Video: One Take, One Chair
The official video was shot as a single, uninterrupted take in the Budapest apartment of Kállay's mother. It is built around a family heirloom: a chair where his grandmother, his mother and other relatives have sat over the decades. By performing the whole song from that spot with no edits, the video mirrors the record itself, unscripted and rooted in family history.
Part of the "another night" Era
"take me back home" follows the singles "Wild Horses", "YOU" and "Lost at Sea" on the road to another night, the album Kállay premiered live at his 15-year anniversary concert at A38 in Budapest on May 2, 2026. Best known internationally for representing Hungary at Eurovision 2014 with "Running," which finished fifth, Kállay continues to perform both as a solo artist and with the Kállay-Saunders Band.
