Kállay Saunders and Alex Torres Perform "ola é" on GROOVE Sessions
Kállay Saunders and Peruvian guitarist Alex Torres perform "ola é" live on GROOVE Sessions, GROOVE Media's live series filmed in Budapest.

Kállay Saunders returns to GROOVE Sessions with a live performance of "ola é," joined by Budapest-based Peruvian guitarist Alex Torres. The session was directed, filmed and finished in-house by GROOVE Media, Kállay Saunders' exclusive manager and content partner, as the latest episode of its live performance series filmed in Budapest.
About "ola é"
"ola é" first appeared as a Kállay Saunders single on October 2, 2020. The GROOVE Sessions version brings Torres' guitar, shaped by Latin and flamenco traditions, into conversation with Kállay's soul and R&B vocal. The two artists share one room and one take on the song, and the arrangement bridges contemporary R&B with the Latin influences that run through Torres' playing.
Like every episode in the series, the session follows a simple format: one artist, one song, one room. GROOVE Media handles direction, filming and post-production internally, finishing each episode in DaVinci Resolve, so the focus stays on musicianship and the chemistry between the performers rather than on studio effects.
About Alex Torres
Alex Torres grew up in Lima, Peru, and learned guitar from an early age as the son of Peruvian creole musician Pepe Torres. After first coming to Hungary to play a festival, he settled in Budapest and studied jazz guitar at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music. He became a well-known session guitarist on the Hungarian scene before moving into solo work, and his 2022 album Reborn collects nine instrumental originals. His Latin and flamenco-influenced style has taken him to stages including Müpa Budapest, Sziget, the Erkel Theatre and the House of Hungarian Music.
