Kállay Saunders Releases "I Need You Right Now" and a GROOVE Session

American-Hungarian singer-songwriter Kállay Saunders released a new version of his song "I Need You Right Now" on January 23, 2025, and GROOVE Media led the promotion of the release. Co-written with anatu, the song is a personal reflection on vulnerability, love and the need for connection. It also opened GROOVE Sessions, the live performance series from GROOVE Media, Kállay Saunders' exclusive manager and content partner, and the live session is featured on this page.

About the Song

"I Need You Right Now" arrived as a two-track single, paired with the song "Pain." Kállay Saunders described the song in personal terms at release:

"This song is very personal to me. It's about vulnerability, love, and the need for connection, which I think is something we can all relate to."

The GROOVE Sessions Performance

GROOVE Sessions is GROOVE Media's own live performance series, built on a simple format: one artist, one song, one room. Each session is directed and shot by GROOVE Media and finished in-house in DaVinci Resolve, and the series has been filmed in Budapest at CLAP Studios and Sidelight Studios. The pared-back format keeps the focus on the artist and the song. Kállay Saunders launched the series with a live performance of "I Need You Right Now," which is available on Kállay Saunders' YouTube channel.

Since that first episode, GROOVE Sessions has featured Ashref, Alex Torres, Davide Shorty, Tolvai Reni and Young Trabajo, and the series has passed 55,000 YouTube views.
